This is a Dell issue as I purchase a Dell product end of story!Įxperiencing brightness control issues on a laptop, such as the Dell G15 5515, can be frustrating. I even proved this by submitting the invoice to them! Dell Support ticket was created on ! As a customer who buys a Dell product it should be of NO CONCERN of MINE if its a NVIDIA issue. They also INSIST that my laptop is over a year old which it is NOT. This is disgraceful and probably the worst support I have experienced ever from any company. They said I should contact nvidia directly. They have directly left me in the cold as a Dell customer and refuse any support. As we all know there are security issues with this old nvidia driver, and also the fact that newer games/software does not work properly on outdated drivers. They requested (yes requested) me to downgrade to 522.25 as a 'solution'. Been in contact with Dell support who are pretty much useless at helping me resolve this. I still have NO SOLUTION to this problem.
